Jeffrey's Bio
Jeffrey Wright was born on December 7, 1965 in Washington, D.C. Jeff's father died when he was a year old, and he was raised by his mother, a lawyer, now retired from the U.S. Customs Department, and his aunt, a former nurse. Jeffrey is happily married to Carmen Ejogo, his co-star in Boycott, and they have a son.
Schooling
Jeffrey received his early education at St. Albans School for Boys in Washington, D.C. He attended Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts, graduating with a B.A. in Political Science in 1987. While at Amherst, Jeffrey discovered his love of acting and, after graduation, moved on to NYU with an acting scholarship. He left after two months to pursue his career full time - with obviously excellent results!
